FTV 502 - Narrative Strategies I

This course is designed to introduce graduate students to the evolution of film language through the study of the intertwining aspects of film theory, film history, and film practice. Students will focus on close analyses of a series of films representing important points in the development of the narrative cinema from its earliest days to the present.
