Prerequisite, doctor of pharmacy major. This course deals with the structure and function of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids and their role in biological processes, including normal and abnormal cellular processes, membrane transport mechanisms, enzyme kinetics, and cell-to-cell communication and signaling.
