PHS 627L - Instrumental Analysis I Lab

Corequisite, PHS 627. The course focuses on the practical laboratory applications of analytical techniques in pharmaceutical, biomedical, and biochemical research. Students will receive hands-on experience with major laboratory techniques including Chromatography, Proteomics analysis, Cell imaging, Mass-Spectrometry, and other methods. Students will learn about instrument operation, recording data, maintaining a laboratory notebook, data analysis, and the preparation of scientific reports based on the obtained laboratory results. Letter grade. (Offered fall semester.) 1 credit
