ACTG 461 - Accounting Analytics

Prerequisites, accounting major, ACTG 339 and ACTG 460 or equivalent, with a minimum grade of C- in each prerequisite. An introduction to how to leverage SQL and statistical analysis to address problems/applications in financial and managerial accounting, auditing, taxation, and accounting information systems. The primary tool used will be R, with optional use of Alteryx. Letter grade. (Offered spring semester.) 3 credits
