PT 640 - Neurologic Practice Management

Prerequisites, enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, PT 510, PT 510L, PT 511, PT 511L, PT 512, PT 512L, PT 525, PT 525L, PT 527, PT 530, PT 531, PT 536, PT 536L, PT 546, PT 546L. Theory and principles of motor control and motor learning will be applied to the management of the patient with neurologic dysfunction. Neuro-facilitation and task-oriented approaches to examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention will be investigated. This course includes a lecture and required laboratory component. Letter grade. (Offered as needed.) 5 credits
