PT 684 - Physical Therapy and the Health Care System

Prerequisite, enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. This course introduces students to the history of the profession of Physical Therapy and the current role of the physical therapist in the continuum of care including, acute care, restorative, prevention, and wellness. The legal, administrative, and financial aspects of the profession will also be introduced including payment for services. Letter grade. (Offered as needed.) 1 credit
